ABOUT

Who We Are

The Richmond Training Hub supports multi-professional primary and community care workforce development and transformation. Funded primarily via Health Education England (HEE) we do this by co-ordinating training as well as undertaking various pilots and initiatives helping facilitate new ways of working. For example supporting primary care placements for student nurses, pharmacists and other non-medical learners. Additionally the Training Hub is committed to promoting and supporting apprenticeships throughout the health and social care.
A key objective across all work-streams is the requirement to boost capacity and capability in primary and community care to enable more care to take place at home and out of hospital.
Established in November 2014, the Richmond Training Hub operates as a not-for-profit social enterprise; with all funds invested in workforce development.
